• Scottish Natural Heritage - SNH are involved in many projects to preserve and enhance Orkney's rich natural history.

Culture

• Sir Peter Maxwell Davies' Website - Sir Peter, or 'Max' to his friends and colleagues, is one of the world's most distinguished composers composers. Although he now lives on the island of Sanday (also in Orkney) he will always be associated with Hoy and the beautiful village of Rackwick. His extensive Website gives much information on his life and works.
